Tennis tournaments

Hi,
Today, I will talk about the problem I mentioned before. It was the schedule in which the tennis tournaments are carried out. This is something that is affecting me in my academical performance and my development in tennis.

It could affect my academical performance because the highest category tournaments are taking place during weekdays. I would have to miss some days from school to play those tournaments because they are part of my life in tennis. So if I play these tournaments, I would have to "learn" by catching up (at home) in what my classmates did during those days in which I was playing the tournament; but it is not the same as learning directly from class. This would make that my learning process decays and my academical results also, all due to the change in the schedule of the tournamnets.

In the other hand, it affects my development in tennis because tournaments are essential for my performance in the field of competition. But as some (the ones of highest category) tournaments are during weekdays, I have to decide whether to go to the tournament or stay at school. And as I said before, being presencially at school is very important, so I have to put the study before the tournaments. That's why I haven't go tournamnets lately, which has made that my development in torunaments becomes worse; now I'm not used to play tournaments, so I get nervous and play bad. So, again, due to the change in the schedule of tournaments, my tennis development, in competition, has worsen.

Actually, I'm not playing tournaments, but the ideal is to play as much of them as I can and the ones of highest category as well, so I have to find a solution. A solution that allows me, both, to keep good academical results and play lots of tournaments. The only solution that comes to my mind is to make the tournaments in bigger clubs. That way, more tennis courts are available and more matches can be played at the same time, finally allowing all the matches to take place in only 2 days - in the weekend. The only problem is that there are not much of such clubs, but if it was possible it could be a viable solution.
